These unfounded rumors were proved untrue thanks to a trustworthy authority on clowns known as Wikipedia. As it turns out, many people played Bozo the Clown over the years. While the resemblance in appearance and performance is uncanny, there is no indication on Wikipedia that singer songwriter Marc Lowe is in fact Bozo the Clown.
